So I'll have to give it to Blizzard, they are really going all-out to bring back people (and their money) to Diablo 3. Patch 1.0.4 is shaping up to be a big release and it doesn't feel like a minor incremental release with all the stuff they are jamming into it. I would name it 1.1 instead of 1.0.4. Jay Wilson from Blizzard posted an article today on the Diablo 3 blog about the newly announced Paragon system and what it means for players who are currently level 60 and getting bored.
If you are level 60 and annoyed that you can no longer gain experience after you hit the max level, fret not as you can now level up a Paragon bar which can go all the way to level 100. Once you gain one Paragon level, you will gain more core stats (dexterity, strength, intelligence, vitality) as well as 3% gold find and 3% magic find per level. With magic find gear included, you can reach a max ceiling of 300% magic find (level 100 Paragon) and also stack Nephalem Valor's magic find bonuses on top of that as well. Nephalem Valor will also be upgraded to provide a 15% experience boost per stack. Kudos to the Blizzard team on this fun way to keep players gaming after reaching level 60.
