EA/PopCap’s newest Plants vs. Zombies game, Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time, has finally arrived on Android devices. The game is quite large (169 MB) so make sure you download it on Wi-Fi. If you didn’t know, yes PvZ 2 is indeed a free to play game with in app purchases (IAP). However, many reviewers assure players that they can beat the game in its entirety without spending a dime. The game doesn’t seem to show up if you search for it yet on Google Play, but if you want to install it you can hit this direct link to the game. Make sure to plug in your phone/tablet because your battery will probably be drained while playing for hours… I know my Galaxy S4 already needs a charge! :)

And of course, all the plants are currently dressed in Halloween get-ups. Nice touch PopCap, nice touch.

Note from the Google Play “What’s New” section:

Coming November 4: the amazing Piñata Party mini-game! In Piñata Party you get to battle zombies from all worlds in a special modern day front yard level for big prizes. You’ll have to plant fast though – the Piñata Parties are only available for 24 hours at a time. Successfully beat three consecutive parties and you can win a mind-blowing mega prize by whacking open the massive Señor Piñata!

Speeding up the level progression – now you can skip the map and move from level to level with ease.
