My favorite game by far for the DS was the cult classic RPG "The World Ends With You". The game followed Neku and friends through a fight for their lives against the reapers. If they win, they get their lives back. If they lose, they don't.
The dual screen layout of fighting was a lot for some people to take in but I didn't mind it one bit since a) the music was some of the best I've ever heard in a video game, b) the characters and story were amazing, and c) the game takes years (and I mean years) to fully 100% complete it.
Well if you're a fan of TWEWY, you're in luck as there could possibly be a sequel in the works according to Andriasang. From the article, "Speaking about the character cameo appearances in KH3D, Nomura noted that the Raimu/Rhyme character did not have any lines for her appearance in The World Ends With You. She only had reaction voices. For KH3D, they decided to do voice casting for this character "out of consideration of the future of The World Ends With You series." This segment of the interview ended with an even stronger hint that a sequel could be on the way. Said Nomura, "Regarding The World Ends With You, I can't say anything at present... (laughs). But there probably is something."
Here's hoping for a true sequel to one of the best DS games period .
