I find myself in a Star Wars mood as of late and that generally coincides with my desire to mess with Lego products. Fortunately, years ago my good friend Ken introduced me to an awesome site that has both components all wrapped up into one. He showed me the From Bricks to Bothans site. So last night found me browsing the posts, reading the reviews and dreaming of my very own Lego workshop. And while on the site, I stumbled across an entry that I wanted to share with the our readers...
I would assume that most of you felt some degree of disappointment with the latest three Star Wars movies. I am also sure that the reasons behind such disappointments are varied. Now and then, it is good to get a refresher on the events that transpired throughout the films even though we instinctively try to wash the memories of the movies from our brains. This is more to keep the whole story fresh in our minds, than it is to rehash bad memories. But to do so would mean to either “resubject” ourselves to those movies again or to dig through long Wookieepedia articles (and yes, I did spell that site name correctly). I know for me, the thought of watching the first two films again is completely unappealing, and the third one I am still on the fence with. And while the idea of reading the many articles of the famed Star Wars wiki is more appealing, it still has all the potential of lots of time consumption. So, is there a third option? Well yes there is. Luckily for you and me, dzine123 (over on YouTube) came up with a clever way to summarize the movies using stop motion animation and…wait for it…LEGOS! Here is the article on FBTB.net, but I am also going to give you the video right here as well. Enjoy!
And just in case you want to see dzine123's take on the original trilogy, here you go...
