I've written before about innovative implementations of HTML5.  Coder Scott Schiller has used HTML5 (as well as some other technology) to create an engaging simulation of the dual-turntable experience.  The result, wheelsofsteel.net, uses royalty-free tracks to pretty accurately simulate the DJ experience, including pitch bending, scratching, power-down simulations and many others.  Schiller admits it's still very much a work in progress but it definitely gives you the ability to channel your inner DJ.
