Nintendo snuck their firmware update out 2 days earlier than anticipated and I have it downloaded to let you know what was changed.  Read on to see...

• Camera
  • 3D 10 minute max video capturing added with 4 modes (standard, interval, stop motion, and montage)
• Nintendo Zone
  • To be honest I haven't been able to try this out as I'm not sure where the Nintendo Zone sponsored spots are actually located.  It seems like this is a SpotPass-like app that will send you promotional videos and special offers.  You can opt-out of that if you want.  You can also preview 3DS games here as well.
• StreetPass: Mii Plaza
  • New sections added: Music Player, Accomplishments (which seem nearly impossible to get ALL of them), StreetPass Map (which shows you where all your StreetPass people came from), and Slide Show (a faster way to view your puzzle panels)
  • New puzzles for Puzzle Swap that contain some pieces you can only get from StreetPassing.  Find Mii 2 is now available for those who have completed Find Mii 1.  Now you can do combo attacks with people who are the same color shirt and re-hire prior allies you have had before.
• System Transfer
  • I haven't had a reason to use this as I only own one 3DS, but this is the app that you can use to transfer data (and supposedly eShop monies) to another 3DS.  Ambassador status transfers as well which is awesome.
• Ambassador Program GBA games
  • Gotcha!  Yeah, there are no GBA games yet but the eShop was undergoing maintenance last night so maybe they are being added or the shop is being setup to handle them.  Who knows... let's hope they come out soon or even announce WHICH GBA games besides the 5 that were previously announced are coming.
