Massive games coverage sites IGN and UGO will be spinning off from their parent media companies and merging, creating a massive shared audience of over 30 million.  The merger will also include GameSpy, WhatTheyPlay.com, 1UP, and EGM.  I'm not a fan of either site's "Entertainment Tonight" style, so I won't be too upset over the merger.  We'll probably continue to get most of our info from Joystiq, Destructoid, Rock Paper Shotgun, Giant Bomb, and No High Scores, and recommend that you do the same.
