No, you didn't read the title of the article wrong.  According to Joystiq, Freddy Krueger will be a downloadable character for 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99 on PSN).  I guess Jason was busy visiting space and was unable to join the party (that was a Jason X joke for those following along).  How Freddy will fight the other combatants will be interesting as he only appears when they are sleeping and that could lead to quite the boring match.  Freddy will arrive on August 9th, 2011.
