For those frothing at the mouth for some more Diablo III coverage... froth no more. The changes are so staggering and so amazingly simple yet effective it blows my mind. I will sum up some of it here, but check out IGN's Ten Commandments of Diablo III. Let's just say auction houses, a stash that spans all your characters, ability to sell items in the dungeon, no more corpse runs only to die some more, crafting is getting completely overhauled, 5 classes with skills that level up when you level up, runestones to power-up skills, customizable mercenaries, and more. The only part I question is where they say "Diablo III is going to be a completely different experience, with drop-in drop-out co-op for up to four players, with seamless transitions between single player games and multiplayer." Up to four players? That's it? Well, still freakin amazing but I'd hope to see that number go up...

Four players... That may be a good thing. One thing I learned from WoW, I hate large scale coop with strangers. It doesn't work. With proper tuning, I see no reason why 4 players wouldn't be totally acceptable. And that gives them greater felxibility with adding or patching in 8 or larger 'raids' if they so desire. I have definitely been hot and cold on Blizzard over the last year or so but I still have high hopes for D3. Very High.
