A number of tabletop gaming publishers have gotten together to sponsor Free RPG Day, where you can head down to your local gaming store and pick up a number of free modules from various publishers, such as Fantasy Flight or Wizards of the Coast.

A good selection of retailers in New England are participating.  Check out the store locator to find one near you.
