wii-con-51

Nintendo's WiiU conference at E3 featured three minutes of footage from third party games such as Darksides II, Ninja Gaiden, and DiRT.  The videos were meant to demonstrate that Nintendo was serious about third party support.

The only problem?  The gameplay video was actually from PS3 and XBox360 versions of the game. Spike's Geoff Keighley got the dirt from Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime during an interview after the conference.  While I'm sure that WiiU's claims of 1080p output are true, this type of move doesn't leave a good taste in consumers' mouths.  They should have said the content was simulated and then saved the actual gameplay for next year's E3.
