For those of you that are unfamiliar with Operation Rainfall, they are a huge group of Wii owners that are campaigning for Nintendo to release 3 games in the US that are available in Japan only and some that are making their way to Europe (not Pandora's Tower).  Those 3 games are Last Story, Pandora's Tower, and Zenoblade Chronicles (aka Monado: Beginning of the World).  Nintendo of America (NoA) is currently standing their ground that they will not be releasing these games in America, despite the outcry for JRPGs, 2 of them are already localized in Europe, and also there are hardly any future games on the dwindling system to look forward to... except Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Operation Rainfall was covered by countless online publications already and they also have gotten Monado: Beginning of the World on Amazon's top pre-order Wii game list.  To be honest, it would be a crying shame if none of these games made it over here.  The games are already in Europe, is it really that hard to move them to the US?  Not only that, but the pre-orders alone guarantee that Nintendo is in for a good deal of money if they release even just Monado.

According to their latest blog post, Operation Rainfall claims a source within Nintendo has confirmed that Monado and Last Story will be making the trip to the US.  This is unconfirmed by Nintendo of course but if it does happen, it goes to show that Nintendo really does listen to what its fans want (and what Nintendo's wallets want as well of course).  If Nintendo doesn't release the games here, I hope they have a good reason for it... like working on Wii U's launch line-up or strengthening the 3DS software.  Sadly Nintendo is not the company to come out and explain themselves for not releasing these games and just leaves fans angry and in the dark.

So to sum it up, I wish Operation Rainfall all the luck and hope these games make their way stateside (if they do I will be picking up at least one of them).  I'm a huge Nintendo fan and it highly disappoints me when Nintendo, heck companies in general, don't listen to their fans... especially when the money is already on the table.  Come on Nintendo, do the right thing or at least explain why you aren't!
