I've always been amazed at voice actors. There are a small group of people in the entertainment industry who get paid oodles of money because, when you tell them to say something, you only need one or two takes to get exactly what you need.

Anyone who's played Halo multiplayer is intimately familiar with the voice of Jeff Steitzer - he is the announcer calling out KILLING SPREE, BETRAYAL, KILLIMONJARO and everyone's favorite GAME OVER.  Joystiq was kind enough to post up a little video of Steitzer in action.
