Back in February we told the story of Aaron Barr, a security analyst with HBGary Federal who claimed to have infiltrated Anonymous and ended up getting his company's security destroyed for his boast.

Barr was scheduled to appear at the hacking/security conference DEFCON for a panel discussion regarding the incident.  However, Barr's former employers threatened him with legal action should he appear, and as a result he withdrew from the conference.  It is unclear whether the panel discussion will move forward without it's star witness.
