So here's what we got from the Engadget Live Blog of the Apple fall conference, arranged by product:
iOS 4.1
- Built-in HDR photography mode - the camera will basically take three photos at once and combine them to create a HDR photo
- Multi-player Game Center, leveraging iPhone contacts to challenge friends, compare scores, etc

iOS 4.2 sneak peek
- AirPlay, a wireless connection protocol
- Will enable wireless printing, the ability to stream audio and video over wifi to your Apple devices

iPods
- Ipod shuffle smaller, now square, buttons have returned, featuring voiceover playlists, genius mixes
- Nano is now like a mini iPod touch – no buttons, all screen, iOS style navigation
- Ipod Touch – Retina display, Apple A4 chip, gyro, iOS 4.1 with Game Center, Facetime with front facing camera
- No mention of iPod Classic – it might mean the end of the road for this device

- logo gets rid of CD image
- Cleaned up list view (album titles and artists now over with album art, only listed once)
- Ping – social network for music – "friend" artists and follow their releases or concerts, what your friends are downloading, post reviews of music and opinions – trying to tease out from screenshots if you can auto-update what you’re listening to like Last.fm

- Was the “one more thing” announcement, but made into “one more hobby”
- New Apple TV – ¼ the size of the current model
- HDMI, USB, optical Audio, Ethernet, 802.11 n wireless
- Everything is rentals – no storage
- $4.99 first run HD moves, 99 cent HD TV shows
- Stream content from your PC, Netflix, youtube, Flickr, mobileme
- $99, available in four weeks (surprisingly reasonable price for this device)
