When Mike Schropp wanted to build himself a new folding machine, he turned to Lego for the case.

The machine has three motherboards running i7 processors, all powered by a 1200 watt PSU.

In Schropp's article he states "With every project I do I always invariably arrive at the same point, 'Can I use Legos?' "  We should all ask ourselves the same question, Mike.
